Dr. Joe Pinkhas

JOSEPH PINKHAS, DO

MINIMALLY INVASIVE & ROBOTIC GENERAL SURGEON

Dr. Joseph Pinkhas grew up in Queens, New York. He completed his undergraduate degree at Adelphi University and medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY.

He completed his General Surgery Residency at Geisinger Northeast, and went on to join Surgical Associates of Long Island as a board-certified minimally invasive General Surgeon.  Dr. Pinkhas specializes in abdominal wall hernias, gallbladder disease, colon and bowel diseases, breast disease. Dr. Pinkhas operates primarily at St. Charles Hospital and Mather Hospital. 

Dr. Will Sellers

WILLIAM SELLERS, DO

MINIMALLY INVASIVE & ROBOTIC COLORECTAL SURGEON

Dr. William Sellers is a New York native. He completed his undergraduate degree at Fordham University in NYC and medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Geisinger Wyoming Valley where he was named resident of the year 5 separate times throughout the course of his training. Dr. Sellers has numerous publications and book chapters and has presented his research findings to surgeons around the country and multiple national meetings. He then went on to specialize in minimally invasive and robotic colorectal surgery in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dr. Sellers is very excited to be coming back to his home state and to start his practice on Long Island serving Port Jefferson and the rest of Suffolk county as apart of the Surgical Associates of Long Island. He offers the most cutting-edge and comprehensive surgical approach and treatment options to this community. He is certified in both Robotic General Surgery and Robotic Colorectal Surgery as well as laparoscopy and endoscopy. Also, he recently accepted Appointment as the Chief of Robotic Colorectal Surgery at St. Charles hospital. From hernias and hemorrhoids to gallbladder disease and colorectal cancer, he is passionate about treating all sorts of ailments and is always striving to make himself a better surgeon for his patients.
